I think this is true because if your only telling a little of the truth it does not count as the truth because that is a lie. The only way that something can be the truth is if it’s all the truth. I think this is very true and it’s something that I would like to live by because I think that honesty is something that is super important and it opens so many doors.

Student Success Statement

In my opinion this something true. Knowing where the goalposts are like knowing where your goals are, knowing how far you’re going to go to get to them. Once you know where you’re headed there is nothing that can stand in your way. Sometimes it seems very difficult to get there but nothing is easy and if you really want something, there is nothing that can stop you. 

Basketball

James Naismith is the inventor of basketball.

He invented basketball in 1891, while working at the YMCA Training School in Springfield, Massachusetts.

James Naismith invented basketball because at YMCA, they needed at sport to play indoors because it was too cold outside for football or baseball.

In the beginning of basketball every time you scored you had to get the ball from the basket because it still wasn’t an open circle in the bottom.  

At first basketball was played with a peach basket and soccer like ball. Back then there were only 13 rules.

The first game was 9 vs. 9.

   

Tona and Christian 

Tona is an elderly woman who went to go visit her husbands grave, and while she was visiting her husbands grave she was mugged.  Then a couple hours later the mugger was caught they put his picture on the t.v and his son Christian recognized him. Christian wanted to meet up with Tona to apologize for his dad, he felt that she needed an apology. Christian's dad had given him $250 that he needed for a band trip but ha gave them back to Tona. Tona gave the money back to Christian and said that he is and amazing person for doing what he did. I think that what christian did really was amazing what person does this anymore. It really warms my heart to know that there are still good people in this world and that just because your parents aren't the best people in the world it doesn't mean that you have to be the same.

 

Student Success Statement

I think this very true because in the sense of having a good life and living it feeling good about you, the only way to do so is by going what good. If you’re always doing badly then you’re not going to be living a good life because you won’t feel good about yourself and there will always be a sense of guilt following you around. Then are going to be people who don’t want to be around you because they know the type of person that you are and even if you really do try to change, nobody will really believe you because they only see you for the bad thing that you have done.

Veterinarian

Duties and Responsibilities: Veterinarians examine animals to detect and determine the nature of diseases or injuries. They also treat sick or hurt animals by prescribing medication, setting bones, dressing wounds, or perform surgery. Another thing they do id advice their animal owners on how to take better care of their pets.

Salary: average salary of $96,140

Education: To become a veterinarian one must earn a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree which typically takes four years. Although sometimes you can be accepted to college of veterinary medicine without a bachelor’s degree most have at least completed their undergraduate degree.

Reflection: This has always been a dream job of mine, I absolutely love animals I think that they are the best thing in this world and in would love for my job to be to take care, help and save these animals. I think that I would most defiantly want to become a veterinarian.

Western Medicine Doctor

Duties and Responsibilities: Western medicine doctors see patients, prescribe medications required, perform surgeries, and deliver babies. They use tools of modern medicine, but they also have additional therapeutic modalities that they use to take care of patients.

Salary: Annual Median $94,436

Education:

This is the doctor that I go see every once a year. I think that I would most defiantly want to be this type of doctor, I think that they are really great.
