and Responsibilities:
oriental medicine practitioners use different forms or acupuncture and
treatments through a Chinese concept called “qi” which means energy. Oriental medicine
treats headaches, back pain, arthritis, or other
illnesses. They identify patterns of
imbalance in the body and readjust fluids or tissues in order to make the body
balanced again.
Salary: $61,000 a year
Education: some oriental
practitioners are licensed to be physician’s assistant and then take classes to
become certified in oriental medicine. Others earn a bachelor’s degree in
biology or other medical related fields.
Reflection:
This career seems very interesting
I think this might be something that I would like to get into. I’ve always
wanted to get into natural or eastern medicine.
