Duties
and Responsibilities: Clinical
managers work as managers in both administrative and medical capacities to make
sure that the establishment they work for runs smoothly. They often work for
doctor’s offices, clinics, long-term care facilities, and outpatient
facilities. Their duties usually include managing
clinical, professional, administrative, and clerical staff; managing the
recruitment, development of, and appraisal of staff; overseeing day-to-day
management; developing and implementing policies and directives; setting and
monitoring budgets; attending meetings; handling communications; and making
purchasing decisions.
Salary: Median
Pay $88,580 per year
Education:
Most clinical managers have at least a bachelor’s degree; some master’s degrees
are also common. The requirement all depends on the facility.
Reflection:
This career looks like a good career. I think this might interest me, I like
the fact that they make sure that everything runs smoothly. I think it takes
lots of time to make sure that nothing goes wrong in this career and you have
to be someone who’s very dedicated to their job for this career.
