Licensed Practical Nurse
Duties AND Responsibilities: Licensed practical nurses provide routine care. They observe patients’
health and assist doctors. They also help registered nurses and give the
instruction patients need about their medication, home care, and preventative
life changes.
Salary: $41,540
median annual wage
Education: LPNs need a high school
diploma or GED to apply to an LPN educational training program. The program
lasts about a year and is found in technical and vocational schools and
community colleges. They have to pass the subsequent NCLEX-PN licensing exam.
Reflection: I think this is a good career,
it sound pretty simple yet it’s a good career to be in. I would most defiantly
want to talk to a licensed practical nurse to hear from them their experience on
this career.
