Health Information Specialist
Duties and Responsibilities: They organize and manage health information. They also make sure that it is in good conditions, accurate, accessible, and that they are secure. They use lots of classification systems to make sure that the information is protected.

Salary: $34,160 per year

Education: Health information specialist usually need a postsecondary certificate to enter the occupation, they can also have an associate’s degree. Some do require professional certification.



Reflection: I think this is a good career for the people who want to be in the medical field but don’t want all those years of college or they don’t want to work with patients. I think this is a great career but I want to do something a little different from this, I do want to become a doctor.
