Final: Part 2
Some things that I liked about this class were he student success statement, what I liked about them were the quotes they were very inspiring and I think that some people don’t want to admit it but I think that I really got them thinking about themselves and they actually would want to become a person like the ones they get the quotes form. Something else that I liked about this class was the free time; I think I was god to get some free time once in a while. The career searches were also very helpful they made me see that there were lots of options to choose from. Something that I really like about this class is the fact that you Mr.Haymore don’t give up on us that you know that we have the capability to be great student even though we are very thick skinned sometimes.
I don’t really have some suggestion on how to make this a better class I think it is fine just the way it is.
I feel like yes I really did try my best in this class. I mean of course there were days when I did not want to do anything and I was a bit lazy but I always did try to do my best. If I had not I wouldn’t feel good about myself.
With my 100+ goals I’m going to honest I did not read them every day, in fact most of the days that I read them were in class, but I will try to change that and read them more.
I actually am committed to being a CTR person, sure there are always friends that say that it’s lame and uncool but I want to feel good about myself and if that means being lame and uncool well then I guess I’m going to be lame and uncool.

For my body mind and spirit I will exercise more I think that by exercising more that will help me with all of them.
Final: Part 1

My interdisciplinary project was very stressful at times. When we first got the assignment I was worried that my teammates and I would not be able to finish the project in time. There were also problems with the organization because some of the teachers wanted certain things in the power point but others wanted other thing so we had to keep changing thing around and what we changed was not what the teacher that was grading us wanted, so as a result we got lower grades than what we could have had. As a group I think we did very well, I think I was a good idea to have set the teams up because that going to teach us that we are going to have to learn to work with different type of people. What I did not find fair was that some of the people had to do the whole presentation all by themselves because their teammates decided not to show up. Something else that was very stressful was the virus that was going around and erasing everything that people had worked on, i was worried that i would happen to our team but thankfully it did not. When the day of the presentation finally came I was very nervous and so was I team. What was stressing to me was that one of my teammates was not here and it was almost about to be our turn to present, but at the end my teammate came through and showed up. During our presentation I feel we did a very good all of us, we were all nervous so I would have expected us to not do so well but in the end we did a very good job I was very proud of my team.

“When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad.”
                                      -Abraham Lincoln

This is very true, when I do good things I feel good about myself but when I do something bad I feel bad and I don’t feel good about myself. For example one time when I was little I disobeyed my mother, I was supposed to go straight home after school but one day I went with my friends to go get some ice cream. I felt bad for lying to my mom but I told her what I did and she just told me to never do it again. After that I always went home unless she gave me permission and I felt good about that because I was doing the right thing.

“Take responsibility for your own body, mind, and spirit, for your physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.”
                                                                   -Mr.Haymore

I think this is a very true statement because you are the one that is in charge of your body, nobody else. If you take care of your body you will be healthy and hard for you to make right decisions. If you take care of your mind you will be able to make right choices and always do the right thing. If you take care of your body you will have lots of energy and you will be very healthy. If you take care of your body you will always feel good and you won’t feel tired.

“We need the courage to start and continue what we should do, and the courage to stop what we shouldn’t do.”
-Richard L. Evans

This is very true in my opinion I think everyone does need the courage to continue what they started. Most of the time people just give up on things because it gets too hard for them and they think that they can’t do it even though they won’t try to find out. People now a day give up to easy they never finish things because it gets to hard but most of them do have the capability they just need to learn to push them. There are also always things that we shouldn’t do because they are wrong but most people can’t seem to stop themselves from doing it. I think that if you know something is wrong then you shouldn’t do it because it’s only going to lead to worse thing. There are also always consequences for doing the wrong thing, why take that risk of getting into trouble when you can just chose to do the right thing is not like it’s going to kill you.

“ALWAYS DO RIGHT.”
-    Mark Twain

The right is something people always chose to ignore. Doing the right thing should always be in peoples mind but it is not. There is always something else that takes whether it anger, envy, or selfishness. This is something everyone is taken over by at one point or another there are people that are able to push it to the side but there are also always people who let it take over them. This is honestly a sad thing, no matter how bad thing get for us they will get better. People seem to forget that and when they do it’s usually when they also forget to do the right thing. Doing the right thing should always be done.

When you Tell one Lie it Leads to Another
                     -Paul Hatch
When you tell one lie, it leads to another
So you tell two lies to cover each other
Then you tell three lies and, Oh Brother,
You’re in trouble up to your ears!
So you tell four lies four lies to try to protect you
Then you tell five lies so folks won’t suspect
You
Then you tell six lies and you’ll collect
A life filled with worries and fears
‘Cause you can’t remember how many lies
You’ve told
And half the things you say aren’t true
And sometimes you slip up, you’ll trip up
And then
Whatever will become of you?

So you lie and lie without even trying
And each lie you tell will keep multiplying
'Till the whole wide world will know you're lying
Then you'll be
Suspected
Detected
Rejected
Neglected
Disliked
And you should!
When you lie, you're closing the door
On everything good

“When you tell one lie it leads to another.”
-Paul Hatch
Always speak with the truth.

I think this is very true, you should always tell the truth even if you are going to get in trouble by doing so. Once you start telling lies you will just say another and another, next thing you know nobody will trust you because they will only see you as liar nothing more. Once I told a lie and I got into very big trouble because of it, my mother did not trust me after that I and it felt awful but luckily I earned her trust back and now I don’t lie to her anymore I have learned my lesson. I also remember one time when was smaller I was helping my mom bring in the groceries and I dropped the carton of eggs. I was so scared to tell her because it thought she was going to get very mad at me, but I told her either way and she didn’t get mad. I remember she told me, “At least you told me the truth about it.” Ever since then I have learned that it is always better to tell the truth because in the end things always work out if you just tell the truth.

                     The Three Questions
1.     Can people trust me to do what is right?
Yes I believe that people can trust me to do the right thing. I like having people be able to count on me and it is after all what right so why not just do the right thing. I would not like it if people would not trust me.
2.     Am I committed to doing my very best?
When it is something that I want or something that I need to do th very best in, I will. It is always important for everyone to do the best that they can, so I always try to.
3.     Do I treat people the way I want to be treated?
Not always but I do try to treat people right most of the time but there are always people that I do not like how they are so I am a bit mean to them but I always feel guilty afterword’s.
“If the answer to these questions were YES, there is no way you can fail.”

“Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood.  But we do know what the Greeks knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong. ”
                   President John F. Kennedy

I think that what he is saying is very true because without our health we just get weaker and slower. You get more tired easily and your brain doesn’t work as well and fast as it should.

“IF IT IS NOT RIGHT DO NOT DO IT; IF IT IS NOT TRUE DO NOT SAY IT.”
-         Marcus Aurelius

This is very true in my opinion I think that everyone should do this because why say something that isn’t true all it does is lead to trouble, and it can also hurt someone’s feeling. Also if you know that’s something is wrong then why go ahead and do it even if it’s because your friend are telling you too and calling you names, don’t do it because in the end you’re the only one who’s going to get in trouble.

“It may make a difference to all eternity whether we do right or wrong today.”
-         James Freeman Clark

This is true because doing whats right is can affect what happens to you tommrrow and the day after that
Veterans Day

Veterans Day is on November 11. The first veteran day was on November 11, 1918, but it was known as Armistice Day. Then the veteran’s service organization took out the word armistice and replaced it with veterans on 1938. On June 1, 1954 Veterans Day was a day to honor veterans from all wars not just World War 1.
I think what these men and women do is amazing and very respectful, not everyone has the courage to fight for their country so I admire and honor them for that. What very sad is lots of lives are lost during these wars and most of the people that die have family that have not seen them in such a long time. This what it think is very sad the fact that most that die don’t get to see their family before they die.

“Doing what is right, fair and honorable is more important that winning or losing.”
          -Chick Moorman
For Example: Honesty and Victory

Reflection: I believe this is true because honesty, playing fair and playing by the rules is way more important that winning or losing. If you’re fair and honorable than losing or winning isn’t important and won’t matter because those thing should always be more important than anything else.

Synonyms of Integrity: honest, probity, rectitude, honor, righteousness, sincerity, truthfulness

Lots of people today have lost their integrity but the few who still have shown it and they are proud of it. I think everyone should show integrity because it’s one of the best qualities that someone can have.

This is very true what it’s saying because people who hang out with wise, respectful, smart, CTR people will become people like that. And those who hang out with people that do bad things like drinking, smoking, drugs and breaking the law will end up doing those same things.

“Be cool in school—live every rule.”
-Mr. Haymore

I think this is very true. There are lots of reasons why we should follow the rules but for some reason people just cant see that all they think is that following the rules is "lame" and it's a bit sad because it shouldn't be like that.
