Obedience
“When obedience becomes our goal, it is no longer an irritation; instead of a stumbling block, it becomes a building block.”

                                    James E. Faust

I think this is very true because obedience is something we all need to have because without it there would always be a bunch of obstacles put in our way but only because we are not obedient. When we are obedient and follow the rules we get to where we want to get very easy and without trouble.

“Obedience is the great test of life.”
Thomas S. Monson

In my opinion this is very true because we need to always be obedient in life and if we’re not nothing good comes out of it; the consequences for being disobedient are always bad. Also I think people are always seeing who is obedient and who isn’t and the people they see that are obedient are the people that they will trust and count on. There will always be good thing in your life if you’re obedient.

“Obedience is central to becoming, being, and remaining happy.”
           David Bednar

In my opinion I think this is true because if you are not obedient and you don’t follow the rules like you’re supposed to then you’ll end up somewhere where you will not be happy like jail. And in jail you won’t be happy because you can’t do what you want to and you have not freedom. If you are obedient then you will be happy and you will have lots of freedom and you will also be rewarded for being obedient.

Reggie Bush was a football player for USC. He was an amazing player but he was choosing the wrong. Reggie Bush comited multiple vilation while he was a football player and what made it worse was that he knew that he was doing something worng but never said anything about it. What made it even more unfaire was that while he was choosing the wron his teamates were choosing the right and because he choose the wrong his whole team had to suffer the consicuences for what he did. This is very unfair for them because they had nothing to do with what he was doing and thanks to him they all suffered.

“The more obedient you are the more freedom we have.”
                                       Boyd K. Packer

I think this is very true because if your obedient and do what you’re supposed to do then you won’t have to be wasting your time in jail paying tickets. For example in school if you follow the rules then you’re free to do lots of things and you don’t have to lose  your freedom and be in detention.

“What you are as a person is far more important than what you are as a basketball player.”

                   John Wooden

In my opinion this is very true because you could be the greatest basketball player of all time but that won’t really matter if you are a bad, mean or inconsiderate person. I think that how you are as a person is much more important because what is going to happen to you when you stop playing basketball, nobody is going to want to be around you if you’re a bad person to be around. So I think that what you are as a person really is much more important than anything else.

Choose The Right!!!
Student Success Statement
“Relentless, Repetitive Self-Talk Is What Changes Our Self-Image”
-Denis Waitley

In my opinion this is very true because there is always going to be people who call you thing and think that you’re a certain way because of the way that you look even tho it’s not true and that’s not how you are. And sometimes the things they say or think of you are negative and it makes us sad or mad. I think  that this is when you’re supposed to repetitive self-talk to yourself and not let any of the things that people say or think get to you.
